Living with Kelly and Mark is the gift that keeps on giving.
When Mark Consuelos joined his wife, Kelly Ripa, as the show’s host this season, we knew we were in for a treat. And watching the spouses, who have been married for 27 years, every morning was just that.
When they kicked off their show on December 15th, they did it in style. Christmas style, that is! Ripa, 53, welcomed her audience to their “annual holiday sweater party,” complimenting everyone on all their festive gear, but no one could top what she and her husband wore.
No, no one was a match for these two.

Kelly Ripa flaunts tall Christmas tree at home in New York, and Mark Consuelos approves: ‘Dressed to impress’
To celebrate National Ugly Christmas Sweater Day, Ripa and Consuelos, 52, wore a matching Christmas sweater. Together. In which they were both. On Ripa’s side it said “Naughty” and on Consuelos’ side it said “Nice”.
“I feel like I’m meeting a brand new you here,” Ripa joked before grabbing her husband under her sweater. “Mark and I are very compatible as a couple, apart from what we’ve discovered, when it comes to wearing sweaters for two people.”
“I don’t know, I feel kind of great,” Consuelos replied with a laugh.
Despite her festive nature in their red, white, and green sweater, Ripa couldn’t help but feel a little restrained as she was completely attached to her husband. After all, the giant sweater only had two armholes — for four arms! Anyone would feel a little damp in that situation.
“We want to go in different directions!” Ripa told the crowd. “Going through the door is very worrying because we’re both trying to lead so we’re both stuck. Your arms are significantly longer than mine, so there’s that. And I feel like you can swallow me with your hand and my little short arm. He’s trapped me here, so I don’t have freedom of movement. I can’t talk about things!”

Kelly Ripa shows off her sentimental Christmas decorations she’s collected for 34 years in her New York home
The parents-of-three are in full swing for the holidays and just released their holiday card for the year this week – and joked about being single.
While last year’s card featured the couple and their three children — Lola, 22, Joaquin, 20, and Michael, 26 — this year’s card was a little different.
They shared a glamorous card on Instagram with a photo of just the two of them now that all three of their children are out of the house. “Happy holidays,” they wrote. “Love the Empty Nesters.”
