Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos Start Off the Morning Right in New ‘Live’ Promo (Exclusive)

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos begin the 36th season of the series Live with the opening of a brand new exhibition.

In the exclusive program PEOPLE First Look at Living with Kelly and Mark‘s new open, which will premiere on the new season of the talk show on Tuesday, the husband and wife duo can be seen getting ready to start the day.

After brushing their teeth in their apartment and changing a few outfits — Ripa opted for a pink midi dress and Consuelos a maroon sweater and dark gray pants — the pair then travel to Live studio in New York.

The camera then moves through the corridors until it reaches the studio and pans over the audience, before visiting announcer Déjà Vu (who joined the show in 2021) on her platform.

Ripa and Consuelos, both 52, even show off their dancing skills in the new intro, as Ripa twirls around her husband during the slow-motion footage.

According to a press release for the show’s 36th season, Derek Hough will stop by the studio on Monday in anticipation of Tuesday’s new season and in celebration of Labor Day. Hough, who recently married wife Hayley Erbert in Northern California, will talk about it all Dancing with the starswhile the music group SHINEDOWN will perform live in the studio.

The new season of the show will then officially begin on Tuesday, and along with the opening of the new show, it will bring with it a new featured trivia game called “STUMP MARK!”

“Mark will do his best to keep what he wants Live stay away from people who call him trivia and who try to confuse him with their two statements — one true, one false,” the press release said.

Kelly Ripa admits she has ‘a lot of interest’ in retiring, but is ‘very happy’ to co-host ‘Live’ with husband Mark

LiveThe opening week also has a star-studded guest lineup, with Jake Gyllenhaal, Melissa Etheridge, Josh Gad and American Idol winner Phillip Phillips is ready to appear.

The show’s new season will mark the first time Ripa and Consuelos, both 52, will host the season premiere as regular hosts. Consuelos joined the show in February following the departure of former host Ryan Seacrest, at which time the talk show was officially rebranded as Living with Kelly and Mark.

Back in April, the couple, who married in 1996, opened up to PEOPLE about sitting next to each other as co-hosts and described it as a “full circle moment.”

To have Mark join me at that table every day is a dream come true,” Ripa told PEOPLE. “We’ve been so uniquely blessed.”

“It is indescribable [and] we’re super, super grateful,” added Consuelos, who was a guest 92 times before taking the seat next to her forever. “I’ve been so many times and I’ve been blown away every time. Some people would die if they had this chance. No one does it like she does … I can’t think of anyone I feel safer and more protected with than Kelly.”
