The ‘Live with Kelly and Mark’ host turned 53 on Monday and shared that her October birth meant her parents conceived her around New Year’s thanks to “lots of champagne”.
Mark Conseulos is counting his lucky stars that Kelly Ripa was born.
Ripa turned 53 on Monday, and her husband celebrated it on air while they were hosting Living with Kelly and Mark together.
“I’m so glad you were born,” Consuelos (52) told his wife. “It changed my life tremendously.”
Ripa asked jokingly Riverdale star what he would have done if she had not been born, and he said: “I would be sad and lonely. Probably somewhere in a monastery.”
“Yes, you’ve always wanted to live in a convent,” she said jokingly.

Long-standing Live The presenter also shared, much to the chagrin of some viewers, that she concluded when her parents conceived her.
“By the way, any of you have a birthday on October 2nd, just so you all know, our parents used to do it on or around New Year’s,” she said, welcoming all her birthday twins who chimed in. “Please! If I know it, then you should know it too.”
Consuelos said of the break: “It’s a good night. Champagne!”
“A lot of champagne,” Ripa agreed.

Consuelos did not stop praising his wife of 27 years on the air, he also shared a sweet tribute to her on Instagram.
“Another trip around the sun for the heart and soul of our family,” he wrote in the caption as he shared a video montage of photos of Ripa and their family, including their daughter Lola, 22, and sons Michael, 26, and Joaquin, 20. “Happy Birthday sexy ♥️♥️ we love you.”
Ripa commented on the post, “Thank you baby, I love you ❤️”

Sharing love for each other is nothing new to Live co-hosts, who were never ashamed of their romance.
In June, Consuelos opened up about how they keep their marriage warm during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
The former soap opera actor played the game “Agree or not!” and surprised host Andy Cohen, 55, who disagreed with the claim that Ripa was “hotter” in the relationship.

He also expressed his opinion about “sending a nude photo” given his fame. He said it was “definitely” not, even as Cohen clarified that the head may be severed in the image.
Consuelos also revealed that dirty talk in his bedroom is “only in Spanish” and gave himself an “average five and a half” when it comes to how much of a “cuddle monster” he is.
