Kelly Ripa loves her husband Mark Consuelos, but she’s not the biggest fan of his feet!
While co-hostingLiving with Kelly and Mark on Monday, May 13, Ripa, 53, revealed that things in her love life could have gone a lot differently if she had seen Consuelos’ feet first.
The conversation started when Riverdale The alum, 53, said his “leg hurt” as the two spoke.

After a bit of teasing, the longtime television host shared a story about her spouse from last weekend.
“He came to me, was it Saturday morning? He said, ‘Look at this, look at this foot, now look at this foot.’ Mark is very handsome and I always talk about how handsome you are and how sexy you are, so I’m going into this with a clear conscience,” Ripa told the audience, per Entertainment Weekly.
“Mark’s feet are a different story. If I had met his feet first, maybe we wouldn’t be together today,” she joked.

Consuelos had no problem finding humor in his wife’s statements. In fact, he added that Ripa has “beautiful feet.”
“I don’t think my feet are pretty, but they aren’t monstrous either!” she replied.
The couple – who have three now grown children: Michael, 26, Lola, 22, and Joaquin, 21 – have been married for almost 30 years.
Earlier this month, Ripa and Consuelos celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary, and their show’s social media account showed her and her husband recently recreating their wedding day photo.

The couple married in Las Vegas on May 1, 1996 at The Bells Chapel in Nevada.
According to Consuelos, he knew Ripa was the one.

The couple reflected on their wedding day during an April episode of the talk show. Consuelos insisted he and his wife were never on their way to becoming statistics when discussing a recent article about the one in five adults who admitted to having cold feet and nearly running on their big day.

“I wasn’t stressed,” Consuelos said on air, later repeating, “Just so you know, I’m not cold. When I make a decision, I stick to it.”
In February, when the couple planned to return to the Bell Chapel for a week of episodes filmed in Las Vegas, Consuelos told PEOPLE that the place they chose to elope was “a very special place” for him and Ripa.
“We always try to take a ride when we’re in town, but this time we’re going to take viewers inside, where it all happened,” he added of the upcoming trip.
