Kelly Rowland's 2 Kids: All About Titan and Noah

Kelly Rowland and her husband, Tim Weatherspoon, are more than entertainment professionals — they’re also parents to two sons.

The couple married in 2014 and welcomed their first son, Titan Jewell, in November of the same year. They increased their family again in 2021 when their second son, Noah Jon, was born.

Before welcoming Noah, Rowland said Parents in 2016 that becoming a mom taught her a new skill. “I was nervous that I didn’t have the patience to be a good mom, because before Titan I didn’t have the patience. But now I’m very patient.”

The caring mom often shares her family’s updates on her Instagram account. In September 2021, Rowland shared a post of her sons sleeping and cuddling. “My heart is beating ❤️❤️ I just love your lower lips! #nationalday. -but every day is a day for me!! I love you with ALL of me!” she captioned the photo.

The singer also spoke openly about trying to raise independent, self-confident sons. She said Kinship By PARENTS in October 2023, “I just want to get this straight. I really want to be a part of bringing really amazing young men into the world,” she said. “My only prayer was that I have really great young black men in this world who are confident in themselves and don’t need to be told who they are.”

She added: “I want them to be people who are proud of themselves. That’s very important to me – to be good decision makers.”

“What surprises me the most is how fast he’s grown and how much joy he’s given me,” Rowland told PEOPLE in March 2015. She added, “The first time he laughed, I cried. It was the most beautiful sound I’ve ever heard.”

Even early on, Titan had an affinity for music, just like his mom. “He absolutely loves music and he loves it when we dance and sing with him,” she shared.

Now Titan is all grown up and shares some of his favorite hobbies on his Instagram profile. He posted about golfing with his dad, watching NASCAR races and going out to dinner with his mom.

Titan’s account also showcases some of his other interests, including all things Paw Patrol, modeling clothes from his mom’s former bandmate Beyoncé’s Ivy Park fashion line, and playing with toy dinosaurs.

For Titan’s 9th birthday in November 2023, Rowland posted a carousel of videos and photos of memories with her son. “To my favorite sushi-eating friend, my favorite 1st born, my favorite to be stupid friend, my favorite teacher at sea, you never cease to amaze me,” she wrote in the caption. “You are wildly creative and brilliant! I love you more than you will ever REALLY know.”

In September 2024, Rowland told PEOPLE that Titan is excited about the new school year.

“Last year, he started a new school and we had a goddess teacher. I am very grateful to her,” she said. “And now he’s excited about sports. He sees all his friends there. He’s happy. It makes me really excited for him, but he seems to like it. So far.”

Rowland and Tim welcomed their second son, Noah Jon Weatherspoon, on January 21, 2021. The singer announced his birth in an Instagram post, writing, “On the 21st day, 21st year, 21st century, Noah Jon Weatherspoon greeted us .”

Two very special people were on the Zoom call with Rowland while she was giving birth to Noah: her “sisters” and former Destiny’s Child bandmates, Beyoncé and Michelle Williams.

“Our family joined Zoom,” Rowland told PEOPLE in April 2021. “They got to see Noah come into the world. It was beautiful.” She added that her two friends were “awesome, awesome, awesome, awesome” honorary aunts who “knew him right away.”

In October 2021, Rowland also shared a sweet video on Instagram of Beyoncé’s mom, Tina Knowles, rocking and feeding baby Noah with a bottle while singing to him. “I’m not crying!!! Not! 🥺😢🥺😢 This is the cutest!! This fills my heart with so much joy, because I feel like both of my mothers are in this picture!…..LOOK at that sky! Noah loves cuddling!!” she captioned the post.

Like his older brother Titan, Noah also has an Instagram profile, but Rowland shares a lot of Noah’s content on her account as well.

In January 2023, the singer celebrated Noah’s 2nd birthday with a post on Instagram. “For my dearest 2nd born son!! You are joy and delight! I love you with all my heart!” she wrote in the description. “You bring light wherever you go with your smile! What a gift you are to this Earth, you are my dear boy.”
