Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes share a zodiac sign — and now the same tattoos!
Ballerini, 30, opened up to Alex Cooper on Call her dad podcast about her relationship with Foreign banks star and revealed that the couple recently got the same tattoos.
Cooper (29) was thanking the singer for opening up about their relationship when Ballerini quickly revealed: “Well now I said we have the same tattoos, so we can’t break up,” the singer joked.
Cooper then asked the singer to repeat herself, prompting the “Penthouse” singer to confirm that they “have a little Virgo [tattoos].”
Cooper quickly asked Ballerini to confirm if she got the tattoo with her boyfriend, 31, or if she had it before their relationship. “We made it about three weeks ago,” replied the “Peter Pan” singer. As Cooper asked a few more questions about matching tattoos, Ballerini jokingly replied, “I’m sweating.”

But while the pair continued to discuss the singer’s relationship, Ballerini admitted that the pair had decided to embrace their common zodiac sign and all the traits of an earth sign. “I used to really resent my ‘virgin’ self because it was like a control freak to me – I just needed power in a lot of relationship situations.”
“And he’s a Virgo. He and I really allowed ourselves to love that part of ourselves and each other,” Ballerini continued. “Just the need for good communication and loyalty — and planning is not a bad thing when it’s about the right things — all those things. It’s like something that defines us in a way.”

Kelsea Ballerini on Chase Stokes’ boyfriend ex Madelyn Cline’s feud: ‘People want drama’
The Call her dad host continued to ask the Grammy nominee questions about her relationship with Foreign banks star. Ballerini recalled the first time they met in person, which came after weeks of “texting and Facetiming” after she entered his DMs in December 2022.
Ballerini was in LA in early January and said she texted Stokes that it was “crazy” that they were in the same place and not together, to which he replied, “Drop the pin.”

“So he came to that party where I was playing, and I had just finished playing. And I was… ‘Guys – I’m sweating just thinking about this. I thought I was going to pass out,’” she recounted her nerves before meeting him for the first time.
“You can have chemistry over the phone, but when you see each other, you’re like, what’s the difference in height, are we… are you… I didn’t know what to do. So I went to his car, and he got out of his Bronco—hot.”

Ballerini then revealed how exactly the couple made their first impressions. He jumped out of his Bronco and didn’t say a word to me, he grabbed my face and kissed me and pulled my face away and said, ‘Thank God you’re real.’ And I said, ‘Oh.’ ”
