The Grammy 2025 awards have been founded by a desired turntable for the song of the year.
On Sunday, February 2, Kendrick Lamar took home a prize for his Rap anthem, “Not like us.” The victory followed only a few minutes after the song recorded the Record of the Year award!
Lamar faced serious competition in the category, dominated by colleagues of musical heavy blows Beyoncé, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Sabrina Carpenter, Shaboozey, Taylor Swift and Post Malone.
Before he started his speech, Lamar bowed to the head of the category, Diana Ross. At the beginning of his second speech he joked: ” [Alford, his partner] In the video of Crip -walkin ‘ – we go to dedicate that. ”
He then shouted “all the artists on the west coast”, including the goggles of the little rapper, a problem, bad luck, K-Boy, Daylyt and Mike Strode, Schoolboy Q, Jay Rock and Ab-Soul.
“The cats that inspired me to be Emcee as I am today,” Lamar said.

“It’s about it, man, because at the end of the day, nothing more powerful than rap music. I don’t care what it is. We are a culture that will always stay here and live forever,” Lamar said his speech.
The Super Bowla 2025 performer continued: “And say to young artists, as my man points out, I hope you will respect our family. I saw the respect of the artistic form, bring you where you need to go, greet, appreciate y ‘ I love you. ”

Lamar’s victory comes in the middle of his high quarrel with Drake, which may have defined most of both artists in public in public last year. “It’s not like us” is the latest Diss song aimed at Canadian artist in Lamar’s discography. The song became one of the biggest hits of 2024, at the top of several ladder in the US

The producer of the song, Mustard, told the people “I have no idea what is actually happening” in terms of mass success “not like us”.
“I only attribute it to God and because no one could tell me two years or a year ago that I and Kendrick would have the biggest song together because I was trying to attract him to my album,” Mustard said.
“Not like us” also won the best rap performance, the best Rap song and the best music video earlier in the night.
67. Annual Grammy awards were broadcast live from Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on CBS -ui Paramount+.
