Kenzie Petty Wins Survivor Season 46 — a Week After Revealing She’s Expecting a Baby

This post contains spoilers from the May 22 finale episode of Survivor.

Unpredictable final for SurvivedThe record-breaking 46th season ended with socialite Kenzie Petty winning against Taylor Swift-loving law student Charlie and musician Ben.

Season 46 will be announced Survived history for breaking the series record for most players voted with idols in a single season. Survived introduced hidden immunity idols to the game during season 11 in 2005, and since then only 27 players have been eliminated with idols — with season 46 Jem, Hunter, Tiffany, Venus, and Q all eliminated this way.

In the 13th episode of the season, “Friends Going to War,” the final five castaways battled for three spots in the final tribal council.

Here’s how Kenzie, Charlie and Ben made it to the bottom three.

During the last five Immunity Challenges, all eyes were on challenge beast Maria, who had won three Immunity Challenges earlier in the season.

As a clear physical threat, the mom of three had to win an immunity necklace here to avoid being targeted at the next tribal council.

IN Survived first, the two players teamed up to make sure Maria didn’t win her fourth immunity challenge, which would have put Maria in a tie for the most wins by a woman since Survived premiered in May 2000.

Kenzie and Liza’s team strategy paid off, with Kenzie securing immunity, which ultimately led to Maria being kicked out and sent to the jury.

“I want to be you when I grow up,” Kenzie said as she voted for Maria. “You would literally wipe the floor with us.”

Sleep-deprived Ben, who admitted to only getting two hours of sleep a night, pulled off a surprise win in the top four immunity challenge.

Ben had the task of choosing which of those three players to take to the final three. He chose Charlie, leaving Kenzie and Liz to earn last place in the fire lighting challenge.
