Kerry Washington is ready to reveal the mystery of her murder!
In an exclusive chat with PEOPLE about joining Winx Health, the Gen Z sexual and vaginal health brand, the actress, 47, also talked about starring in the upcoming third film in Knives out film series.
Stating that it is “so exciting” to act Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, Says Washington, “It really feels like summer camp for filmmaking.”
“I’m really honored by it [director Rian Johnson] came to me for this role, … and I’m thrilled to be working with some old friends like Glenn Close, who I’ve known forever … and Josh Brolin is an old friend of mine, and some new friends, like Josh O’Connor .”
“So I think it’s going to be really, really fun,” adds the Scandal alum.

Knives Out 3: Wake Up Dead Man: All about Netflix’s star-studded movie
Knives out 3 it is currently under construction. The sequel was first announced in March 2021, when Netflix bought the rights to the murder mystery franchise in a $400 million deal that included the second and third films.
Daniel Craig is slated to reprise his role as Detective Benoit Blanc in the upcoming film that follows Knives out (2019) and Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery (2022).

New cast members joining the cast alongside Washington include Bed actor Andrew Scott and Priscilla actress Cailee Spaeny.
The film is still in the early stages, and Washington tells PEOPLE that he can’t spoil it if filming starts soon or has already begun. “The NDA on this is so tight. I’m afraid to say anything,” she says.
Knives out 3 should appear on Netflix in 2025.
