Profession

At his first school as a teacher, he noticed that the school infrastructure was in poor condition and most of the girls in the village were from tribal communities. At that time, in such communities, girls’ education was not valued and teenage marriages were common. Another problem that Disale noticed was that the school curriculum was not in the local language (Kannada) of the students, so he started learning Kannada and redesigned all textbooks from first to fourth grade in Kannada. He also embedded audio poems, stories and video lectures in Kannada with unique QR codes, with the help of which students could also learn at home, especially girls who were not allowed to go to school.
