Some of the biggest names in Hollywood have come together to bring Peacock’s latest series to life.
Based on iHeart’s acclaimed true crime podcast of the same name, Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist follows the aftermath of the robbery that took place after Muhammad Ali’s historic victory against Jerry Quarry on October 26, 1970.
“When a con man named Chicken Man (Kevin Hart) throws an afterparty to celebrate a brawl with a guest list of the country’s richest, the night ends in the most brazen underworld heist in Atlanta history,” the synopsis explains.
Haiti Estelhomme and Yomally Brady cast, Terrence Howard as Cadillac Richie, Samuel L. Jackson as Frank Moten, Michael James Shaw as Lamar in ‘Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist’.

Kevin Hart says he is ‘overwhelmed with emotion’ as he accepts the Mark Twain Award for American Humor
“Suspected of being the mastermind behind the crime, Chicken Man is hell-bent on clearing his name, but must convince his old adversary, JD Hudson (Don Cheadle), one of the first black detectives in the city’s desegregated police force, who is tasked with bringing those responsible to justice.” , continues the synopsis.
Samuel L. Jackson, Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard star alongside Hart and Cheadle. Guest stars include Chloe Bailey, Marsha Stephanie Blake, Dexter Darden, Lori Harvey and Sinqua Walls.
Peacock’s recently released teaser for the star-studded series features an eventful party, which Chicken Man voiceover describes as “the place you had to be.”

“This little party is just the beginning. When you get all the worst mothers around, something is bound to happen,” he adds as a group of masked gunmen are seen forcing their way into the party.
After the words “based on some crap that actually happened” flash across the screen, the clip flashes to the officers arriving on the scene.

Hart, who is also an executive producer of the series, described his character vanity fair as a “dreamer”.
“A dream is not just a dream; a dream is real and something that others will discover later if you do it right. And Chicken Man is a dream,” he said.
Fellow executive producer Will Packer told the paper that Chicken Man is “more vulnerable than any character Kevin has ever played before.”

“The chicken man loves the streets because they feed him. He deals with numbers, and to be good at that, you have to meet people – be charismatic, be quick to talk,” he told the newspaper. “So when he comes to a place where his street life is [and] his home life is in conflict, he is forced to take an unflinching look at himself and who he is in the mirror. It’s hard.”
