Apart from this, he has also sung several hit songs like “Piyawa Gaye re Hamar Saturday re Bhauji”, “Saiyan Arab Gaile Na” and “Lehnga Me Meeter” to name a few.
In 2019, he entered Bigg Boss House Season 13 through a wild card.

Kesari had sparked controversy when he said that the Bhojpuri film industry is nothing without him, Pawan Singh and Dinesh Lal Yadav. - When he was a child, he used to talk too much while singing Ramayana or Mahabharata. Because he used to talk a lot, people called him Khesari, a pulse notorious for causing indigestion or diarrhea.
- During the days of struggle, he sang and danced at local weddings.
- Khesari even had to sell Litti Chokha, an Indian delicacy famous in parts of Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh, with his wife Chanda to support their family.
