While Khloé wasn’t ready to get back on the dating scene, she made it clear that she wants to “feel proud” of her next boyfriend and not think “everyone’s laughing at me… because I dated someone.”
Khloé Kardashian is hoping to find a new romance that won’t embarrass her.
In Thursday’s episode The Kardashiansthe Good Americana founder went to lunch with best friend Malika Haqq and opened up about the state of her relationship with ex Tristan Thompson — as well as her hopes for their future.
While Khloé, 39, has been adamant that she’s not ready to date again, she’s also made it clear that she doesn’t want to shy away from romance when the time comes.
“This situation was the craziest thing and not just finding out that someone else was pregnant, but while I was secretly pregnant with my surrogate,” she explained of Tristan, who secretly fathered another child with Maralee Nichols while preparing to welcome son Tatum via surrogate with Khloé.
“Never in a million years would I have thought that,” continued Khloé Maliki, 40. “Then this whole year goes by, my son’s not even a year old, and look how much has changed. I haven’t spoken to Tristan in all those six months, not even about the kids. But now look, now we are really good friends again. I want to date someone – not now – I’m exhausted.”

In the confessional, Khloé said, “What do they say? In order to get over someone, you have to get over someone else. It’s obviously a very easy route and you’re definitely distracting yourself from what you need healing from. Someone else’s form of healing is not my form of healing. ”
I just need to do what my heart tells me, she continued. “And if I felt like going out, if I felt like going on dates, and if I was open to it right now, I would do it. There’s nothing holding me back. I just don’t have those feelings right now.”

In her conversation with Malik, Khloé added, “I think I want to date people and see what’s out there. I want to feel proud when I walk in a room and I’m with my man and I don’t think everybody’s laughing at me for being a weak bitch for staying with someone.”
Malika was quick to remind Khloé that she is “the farthest thing from a weak woman,” as she explained, “It takes a very strong woman to forgive people, it takes a very strong woman to be hurt repeatedly by the same person and still put a smile on their face. There’s nothing weak about that.”

Khloé appreciated her friend’s comments and admitted, “In an ideal world, I would love to be married and have our family together. That’s what everyone wants. But I’m not attracted to Tristan.”
When Malika was audibly surprised, Khloé clarified: “Tristan is so handsome, he’s got a nice human build — I’m not blind. But I can’t think about kissing him on the lips. None of that… It’s just not in my wheelhouse. ”

Malika then suggested that Khloé try to “try” and try to “save her family,” but Khloé insisted that she had already tried. “I just want my life for a bit,” she replied.
Malika then asked: “So it’s never happened?” prompting Khloé to admit, “I don’t know, I don’t know what it is, definitely not now.”

Khloé’s conversation with Malik happened while she was managing her relationship with Tristan in Season 4 after his repeated infidelities.
Despite Tristan’s cheating, Khloé managed to stay on good terms with the NBA player, 32, even allowing him to temporarily live with her while renovating the house, following the sudden death of his mother Andrea.
Khloé Kardashian is getting ready for Tristan Thompson to move on: ‘It’s going to sting a little’
The exes, who have two children — daughter True, 5, and son Tatum, 13 months — have been open about their complicated relationship, and Khloé recently explained why she continues to defend Tristan despite how he’s treated her in the past.
“I want my karma to always be great,” she said. “We’re going to be in each other’s lives for the rest of our lives because of our kids, so I’m not going to fight it and I’m going to make it as nice as possible.”

In another confessional, Khloé said that Tristan’s infidelities were “a very traumatic experience for me and my life, so I won’t forget it.”
“But I’m so proud that I can be kind and mature and show my kids that mom and dad can coexist and co-parent, and I can be there for him when his time Someone I really didn’t want to see just a few months ago, lives under with his roof,” she said. “I lost a parent, I don’t wish that on anyone. I don’t care what you did to me, this is something beyond my pain. My moral compass tells me to be a good person and give support when someone is in need, so everyone does what your moral compass, I’ll do what mine says.”
During last week’s episode, Khloé admitted that she’s preparing for Tristan to finally move on. “I guess the first time she’s with someone, yeah, it’s going to sting a little bit. I don’t know, but I think that’s probably normal,” she said.
