Khloé Kardashian Says Ex Lamar Odom Was the 'First Man' to Be 'Head of the Household' for Her Family After Her Dad's Death

There is a reason that Lamar Odom had such a lasting impact on the life of Khloé Kardashian almost a decade after their cleft.

Khloé, 40, started the latest season Kardashians With a surprise gathering with her ex -husband, whom she had not seen more than nine years after the 2016 divorce. Khloé said that the former NBA player was on a “pedestal” among his family, but “meritfully”, which explains her complicated feelings.

“It saddened me because the death of Lamar hurt and influenced my family [members]. We still love him and nurture him, but this man just isn’t there, “she continued.” Seeing him with Malik, I was like that, I could no longer help you. You will never be the person we have all idolized. ”

In the premiere episode of season 6, Khloé said she wanted to see her ex -husband to help her “shed” some luggage as she approached her 40th birthday.

Opening about their relationship, she said that “she had to interrupt contact with him” after his overdose left him in the coma in 2015, which encouraged her to take care of him for months. She officially interrupted the ties about the time when she discovered that “she repeats some of the same behavior that I just couldn’t stand for.”

“I was very upset. I told him,” I’m going to Vegas. You have to be out until Monday. That’s it, I’m done. “And I haven’t seen Lamar from that day,” Khloé said.

When he arrived, Khloé said he was “visibly embarrassed”, but she “didn’t have much emotions.”

“I have been dealing with so many traumas in this relationship for years and it was such a love of my life to learn how to open someone – that I would have to go through all that – it’s almost like death,” she said in the confessional. “[It’s] So familiar and so unauthorized, all at the same time. I don’t know that person anymore. It’s just a mind f —. ”
