‘Kidnapped & murdered’ Brit businessman Campbell Scott ‘had been tortured & was found dead in sack of pineapples’

British businessman Campbell Scott is afraid to be abducted, tortured and killed after disappearing in Kenya.

The body of a 58-year-old Scottish man was allegedly found by livestock liver in a pineapple bag just a few days after he first disappeared.

Campbell was last seen in Nairobi on February 16 before the police launched an extensive search for him after grabbing his last movements on CCTV.

The Dunfermline resident, who works as a senior director at the Fico data analysis company, was observed that they were walking in a Scottish kit the day before he disappeared.

Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Administration (DCI) say the footage showed that Campbell left the JW Marriott Hotel with a man dressed in a white T -shirt and blue jeans.

They then got into the car before driving, Capital News said.

Later, the body was discovered in a bag on February 22 by animals for animals in the Makono Forest, 60 miles southeast of the capital, The Times reports.

They said The Sun: “Fico can confirm that the Nairobi police identified the Campbella Scott’s body, an employee of Fico.

“Campbell disappeared last Sunday while on business trip in Nairoba.

“We do not share further details, because the investigation is in the hands of the police.”

Police said they received statements from at least six people from the JW Marriot Hotel, where Campbell was staying.

Two people have since been arrested, including taxi drivers and waiters, Capital News said.

The Great UK Commission in Nairobi cooperates with local authorities to help the investigation.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in London also supports Campbell’s family.

A spokesman Fico paid tribute to Scott with a touching statement this week.

“We are devastated by these tragic news. Campbell was a leader in our international business,” they said.

“Fico joined in 2014 and played a key role in introducing results to new markets and breeding our business with existing partnerships.

“We mourn his passage and we will miss his humor and kindness.”

Campbell arrived in Kenya last weekend and was last seen around 11.15am on Sunday.

The 58-year-old was on a business trip with a colleague at a three-day conference with officials from the UK, the US and several African countries.

His colleague reported to him that he disappeared on Monday night after he could not reach him on his cellphone.

By 7:00 pm, the hotel advised that the police contacted the search that included hotel security and management, as well as officers from the Parklands Police Station.

DCI detectives spent days watching local bars and hotels in Westlands County for information relating to Campbell.

His body was then found less than a week after he first disappeared.
