The SKIMS founder also included a photo of her and Houghton in matching red outfits in front of a Christmas tree and a picture of the two of them sitting together at the bottom of a long staircase.
She showed throwback photos of various other family members with Houghton, including Mary Jo “MJ” Shannon (Houghton and Jenner’s mother), Robert Kardashian Sr. (Kardashian’s late father), and Kardashian’s cousin Cici Bussey.

A very Merry Christmas from the Kardashians through the years
“I pray that God guides us all through this difficult time. Karen was beautiful inside and out. She was the sweetest, kindest, most sensitive and vulnerable and so funny,” Jenner continued. “She was always thankful and grateful for her life and cherished her family and friends, especially her beautiful daughter. She holds such a big part of my heart and I cherish every memory we have together.”
Jenner said Houghton’s death served as “a reminder that life is so short and precious and that tomorrow is not promised.”
“We have to tell those we value how much we love them. I love you my beautiful sister,” Jenner added.

Jenner’s niece remembered Houghton as “the best mother a daughter could ask for” in her own Instagram post.
“You were the kindest, sweetest, loving, giving and caring. You had the biggest heart. And I don’t know how to go on without you. It all happened so fast and I wasn’t ready for it to go,” she wrote.
