Kim Kardashian Posts Behind-the-Scenes of Balenciaga Gown Fitting: ‘Paris Princess Diaries’ 

Kim Kardashian is a pink princess!

On Friday, Kardashian, 43, posted a series of photos of herself trying on the Balenciaga 52 Couture dress she wore to the LACMA Art + Film Gala at a rehearsal in Paris, before attending the event last week.

In the carousel post, which was titled “The Pink Princess Diaries,” Kardashian modeled a hot pink backless number as she stood with her back to the camera between a set of large white doors.

The founder of SKIMS looked makeup-free and had her hair tied in a bun. She looked into the camera as the sweeping train of her dress filled the room behind her.

In the next photo, Kardashian was once again caught with her back to the camera as she walked through a carpeted room while wearing her stunning gown.

The Kardashians the star also showed off the front detail of the dress in a close-up of the final photo that cropped her face out of the picture. In the clip, the SKIMS founder placed her hands on her hips, giving fans a close-up look at the bright pink nails she sported on the night.

Kardashian attended the LACMA Art + Film Gala in Los Angeles on November 4 in a stunning look.

Tonight, the mogul paired black opera gloves with a pink dress at the event and completed her look with a silver choker. The Kardashian wore a pink blush that matched her dress and pulled her hair back into a sleek ponytail.

The SKIMS founder was joined by a host of stars at the 2023 LACMA Art + Film Gala last Saturday, including Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck, Billie Eilish, Keanu Reeves and girlfriend Alexandra Grant, and Salma Hayek Pinault, Elliott Page, A$AP Rocky, and Jodie Turner-Smith.

It was an eventful week for the reality star, as she also attended the 2023 CFDA Fashion Awards and the opening of Swarovski’s new flagship store in New York.

The Hulu star opted for a black leather look at the CFDAs as she wore a black Chrome Hearts turtleneck dress covered in the label’s signature cross motif. Kardashian channeled the ’90s as she wore her hair in a messy updo and a smokey eye topped off with bare lips.

Speaking to PEOPLE this week, her longtime hairstylist and friend, Chris Appleton, gave some insight into how he created Kardashian’s look for the event, and that he was inspired by Pamela Anderson.

“It was a real vibe,” said Appleton, 40. “She had this leather dress on and it was just like Pammy’s vibe.” Explaining that the two have played around with Anderson-style hairstyles before, he discussed how Kardashian’s CFDA look was a little different.

“We went for this more bangy, bang-like piecer finish, and I think it just lifted the whole thing and made it feel a little fresher and cooler,” Appleton said of the look. “Whereas before, when we did it, it was more curly.”

He added that the look was “actually undone for Kim, and I think it was really fresh and beautiful to see. It almost looked like she actually nailed it herself.”

Kardashian also dazzled at the Swarovski store opening, where she also celebrated the launch of her new SKIMS x Swarovski collaboration, as she wore a crystal halter top and matching skirt, which she paired with a pair of silver and PVC mules from Paris Texas.
