Kim Kardashian has been thinking about her late father Robert Kardashian Sr. a lot lately.
The founder of SKIMS, 43, posted a throwback photo of Robert on her Instagram on Saturday.
In the picture, Robert wore a blue suit and held a glass of red wine as he stood next to his daughters Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, who looked like pre-teens or young teenagers at the time.

The girls in the photo wore the same black and white polka dot dresses. Kim captioned the nostalgic photo with a simple infinity sign.

Kim’s mother Kris Jenner was married to Robert from 1978 to 1991. In addition to Kim and Kourtney (44), the couple also has a daughter Khloé (39) and a son Rob Kardashian (36).
Robert was diagnosed with esophageal cancer in July 2003 and died less than two months later on September 30, 2003. He was a businessman and attorney known for being on OJ Simpson’s defense team during the former NFL star’s 1995 trial for the murder of Nicole Brown Simpson.
To honor the memory of their father, Robert’s children opened the Robert G. Kardashian Center for Esophageal Health in Los Angeles in 2019.

“So proud to announce that the Robert G. Kardashian Center for Esophageal Health is launching at UCLA,” Kim tweeted at the time. “My wish is that other families have more information, and we can also focus on health and prevention.”

Although law was not her first career, Kim passed the “baby bar exam” in 2021. In the 2020 documentary Oxygen. Kim Kardashian West: The Justice Projectshe opened up about how she felt about following in her dad’s footsteps and studying law.
“There are times when I might get frustrated and study really late and have to get up and wonder how he did it, he’s got four kids and he must have been going through some of the things I went through,” she said. “It would be exciting to talk to him about it and I know he would be so, so proud.”
Kim also had her dad in mind earlier this month when she posted clips of herself watching old videos of Robert. “My dad was sweet,” she wrote in the description.
