La La Anthony’s son Kiyan is 17 years old!
On Thursday, La La’s close friend Kim Kardashian shared a few memories on Instagram to mark the teenager’s birthday, including a hilarious photo of him with her daughter North, 10.
The SKIMS founder, 43, began her celebratory birthday message by sharing an old snap of herself and younger Kiyan holding a yellow water gun with the caption “Happy 17th birthday @kiyananthony. We love you!!!”
The reality TV star then posted another photo of North making a funny face as she sits next to Kiyan in a colorful jumpsuit with hearts and peace signs. Kardashian, again, tagged the birthday boy in the post.

The TV personality posted a video of the pair playing basketball together, with the youngster saying he is “best friends” with his mum, who added that they “do everything together”.
“Celebrating @kiyananthony all day!!! I thought today would be a good day to let everyone know that he really got his basketball skills from me (I play 😂😂😂😂) HAPPY 17TH BIRTHDAY KIYAN…I LOVE YOU 🎉🎂 ❤️❤️”, La La wrote in the description.

La La’s birthday message comes after she spoke to PEOPLE about how Kiyan rose to social media fame after the teenager amassed 782,000 followers on Instagram.
“It makes me so proud,” she told PEOPLE last month. “Since I know that, I can kind of talk him out of it, make sure he understands.”
“And he’s so calm and humble and a really great kid,” she added of Kiyan’s fame.

La La also revealed some advice she gave her son when it comes to navigating stardom. “Don’t listen to the negative comments. Just do what makes you happy,” she continued with PEOPLE.
“Just turn the outside noise down. I always tell him, ‘Turn the outside noise down. It doesn’t matter,'” she added.

The proud mom also spoke to PEOPLE in December about Kiyan, who is already a national high school basketball champion.
“He has almost a million followers!” she said of his social media following. “He’s not addicted to posting or anything like that, but he likes to post his highlights from games or practice routines. That’s important, especially now that he’s started visiting colleges. You want people to know what you’re doing.”
