The bond between Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons was instant.
In a recent cover profile for Texas Monthly pointing out Plemons, 35, Dunst recalled first meeting her now-husband on the set of FX Fargo series almost ten years ago.
“I immediately felt safe, and so did he,” said the 41-year-old actress. “And feel free.”
Dunst also described her husband as “one of the kindest people I’ve ever met” during the couple’s chat with the magazine.
“I think that sensitivity makes him very sharp when it comes to other people,” she added.

The couple first met when they played a married couple in the second season of the show Fargo 2015, although their romantic relationship only developed about a year and a half later.
Plemons and Dunst’s collaboration on the screen did not stop there Fargo. Both were later nominated for Academy Awards in the Best Supporting Actress and Best Actor categories for their roles in 2021. The power of the dog.
They will also star together in an upcoming film Civil warwhich follows a group of people in “a race to the White House in near-future America that is teetering on a razor’s edge.”

Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons Relationship Timeline
Dunst’s breakout role was in Interview with a vampire when she was 11 years old, while Plemons started acting in a Coca Cola commercial when he was 2 years old.
In the interview for 2020 The New York TimesDunst said they bonded because they were former child stars: “We laugh about the fact that we were two child actors, and we both did well.”
Of working with Dunst for the first time, Plemons added, “I knew she was going to be in my life for a long time.”
After getting engaged in 2017, Dunst and Plemons have two sons together: Ennis, now 5½, and James, who turns 3 this year. PEOPLE confirmed that the duo tied the knot in July 2022.
