Bosworth attended Plano West High School and played football there. He was named first-team all-district and second-team All-Area in 2004. Rivals.com rated him the 40th best outside linebacker in the country. He finished his high school career with 219 tackles, three sacks and two interceptions. He was a UCLA football player. Bosworth had an outstanding collegiate career, winning UCLA’s defensive end Jerry Long “Heart” award during his freshman year. Similarly, he was the defensive co-winner of the award during his senior year. Korey began his NFL career as an undrafted free agent with the Denver Broncos. He was signed by the team on April 30, 2010 and released on June 15, 2010.
On August 17, 2010, he joined another NFL club, the Detroit Lions. On September 3, 2010, he broke his leg and was placed on injured reserve. He was released the next day.
