Kourtney Kardashian has a few fashion regrets — including her 2009 Emmys look.
In the 4th of July episode The Kardashians, Kourtney turned glamorous for the 2024 awards and relived the only other time she attended, back in 2009 with her sister Kim Kardashian.
“I went to the Emmys 15 years ago and the look was very different,” she says. “I just wore this random gray one — I don’t even know the designer, I don’t know where I got it or how I even got it on.”
Her look was a dark gray flowing strapless dress which she wore over her growing baby bump. At the time, she was pregnant with her son Mason.

During the episode, she called Kim to ask if she could remember more about the event and reminded her that she wore an “ugly bracelet” with her dress. Kim didn’t remember much either, but she did remember them getting ready “down the street” at Kourtney’s apartment in Calabasas.
The 2024 ceremony looked a lot different for the mom of four, who welcomed her son Rocky with Travis Barker in late 2023. She came to the event to watch Barker play the drums to open the show and wore a suit that complemented his.

“This is the first big public thing I’m doing and it’s our first real date after the baby,” she says in the episode. “I feel like I would never go on a red carpet if it wasn’t for Travis and I’m gonna, like, support him. Just, life with a newborn. I didn’t go anywhere but Target.”
Kourtney goes on to say in the confessional that she feels “lucky” to slowly ease back into real life after having a baby because she knows not everyone can do something like that.
“It feels a little soon to be doing something like this, but also know, well, this is one hour. Enjoy, be in the moment. Enjoy watching my husband on stage. Have fun, and then, back to my bubble.”
