The Queen of Christmas is thawing out — with a little help from Kris Jenner!
Mariah Carey joined Jenner (67) for dinner on Saturday and The The Kardashians the matriarch marked the occasion with a selfie — and a brief preview of their conversation.
“Dinner with my girl @mariahcarey,” Jenner wrote on Instagram, adding that she spent the evening “catching up” with the 54-year-old singer — “and trying to convince her ‘it’s time’!!!!!🎅🏼 🎄.”

Along with the selfie, the momager also shared the viral “it’s about time” video that Carey debuted last year on Oct. 31.
In the now-iconic clip, the singer ditches the witch costume for a Santa-inspired outfit, marking the transition from Halloween to the winter holiday season — her season — by exclaiming, “It’s time!”
Carey and Jenner doubled down on the smiley selfie with glossy base makeup, smoky eyes and glossy lips. In the caption, the reality star revealed that their moment together was no coincidence, crediting make-up artist Etienne Ortega for the “glam on both of them”.

Jenner isn’t just a fan of Carey’s holiday work — she’s a longtime member of “Lambily” (Carey’s fan base).
Last year, the stars linked up at a Dolce & Gabbana fashion show in Italy and snapped photos together, which Jenner then shared with a subtle nod to the Carey classic.
Along with photos of the duo at a fashion event in July 2022, Jenner wrote, “Me and Mariah… Come back as babies with pacifiers,” a reference to the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s line from Carey’s “Fantasy” remix.

The singer responded with another line from the 1995 song, commenting, “Keepin’ fantasies hot like fiiiire 🔥🔥🔥 xoxo 💖.”
Several other celebrities also reacted to the photos on Instagram — including Jenner’s daughter Khloé Kardashian, who wrote three separate comments: “QUEENS,” “Ok this is EVERYTHING” and “Are you okay? I’m not.”

Recently, two other members of the Kardashian-Jenner crew paid tribute to the Queen of Christmas.
In February, Kylie Jenner posted a TikTok with sister Kim Kardashian to Carey’s then-viral song “It’s a Wrap.”
In the video, the sisters recreated the viral dance that accompanied the song’s clip, then went off-script, with the 26-year-old model leaping towards the camera before Kim, 43, jumped into her sister’s arms. (Khloé also made a cameo.)

In another video, Kim and Carey also took part in the trend together — along with their daughter-coaches, North West, 10, and Monroe, 12.
The girls started the clip by performing a dance number to the Carey song, only to be interrupted by their moms suddenly appearing on either side and singing into the hairbrushes.
“It’s a wrap! But never for us!” the founder of SKIMS wrote a cute mother-daughter TikTok.
