Kristin Davis will always be a little Charlotte York.
The actress and activist (59) may not always dress like her Sex and the city character, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t keep a few pieces of Charlotte’s wardrobe on hand in case she wants to wear them for a special occasion.
Recently, Davis brought out one of Charlotte’s most iconic pieces: the lipstick skirt she wore in two episodes of the show’s third season. Prada’s piece is from 2000 and she said Grace in 2023 that she often tells people that it’s her “favorite outfit ever” from the show.

She’s currently keeping the pleated white skirt — which is printed with tubes of pink and red lipstick — tucked away in her closet, but she doesn’t have anything lined up to wear it for in the future. Like many of her Sex and the city pieces of clothing, she jokes, “I don’t wear them for everyday dinners.” However, if something special rolls around, she’ll be happy to embrace her inner Charlotte for the night!

“There have been a lot of people who have asked me over the years to do different versions of the podcast about the show,” she told PEOPLE exclusively. “But this time it was good because our goal is to revisit the themes that the show raised that are still so relevant today.” She talks about sexual politics, sexual identity, friendship and that original question in the first episode, “Can women have sex like men?” and how topics are maintained today.
As regards Sex and the city fashion, which remains iconic to this day, Davis also told PEOPLE that it will naturally be a topic of conversation on the show. As for the rest, you’ll have to tune in to find out.
