Kristin Juszczyk’s Super Bowl 2024 Look Is the Ultimate Tribute to 49er Husband Kyle’s Career: Exclusive Details 

Kristin Juszczyk may have saved her best look of the season for last.

The wife of San Francisco 49ers player Kyle Juszczyk, 32, stunned as she showed off her 2024 Super Bowl outfit at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Sunday, which included a jacket stitched together with Kyle’s jerseys from all his years in football.

Kristin, 30 — who has become a designer to NFL stars this year after creating custom pieces for Taylor Swift , Brittany Mahomes , 28, Simone Biles , 26, Olivia Culpo , 31, and herself — created another incredible piece for the game. Using a leather jacket as a base, Kristin told fans she was starting “from scratch,” and layered pieces of Kyle’s football jerseys over the years, starting from his high school days at Cloverleaf High School in Ohio, to his college years at Harvard University, through his NFL engagements with the Baltimore Ravens and now the 49ers.

She kept her accessories chic for game day with silver earrings and layered necklaces. For her hair, the designer wore it pulled back and decided to top it all off with a soft, smoky shine.

Speaking to PEOPLE in an exclusive interview ahead of the Super Bowl for her partnership with FedEx, Kristin explains how this outfit was years in the making.

“I’ve had this idea for three years,” she says. “I kept the box in the corner of the room because we were so close to the Super Bowl the last three years, unfortunately. Well, fortunately, we’re here now.”

She continues, “It’s definitely a sentimental piece and there’s a story behind it that everyone will see.”

Kristin also designed her husband’s Super Bow look, with a bomber jacket emblazoned with the names of some of his teammates. She even got the team to sign it!

“I feel like he paid his dues. He deserves it,” the 29-year-old designer told PEOPLE of the look.

“I made Kyle something special for the Super Bowl. I think everyone is going to be excited about that,” she added. “We’ve had this idea for a long time and we’ve just been waiting for that big moment. I think we finally got it. So we’re really excited. Fingers crossed. I can’t wait for everyone to see.”

During the interview, Kristin also explains that although she has created several outfits for herself over the years, it is difficult for her to choose her favorite. She says it’s been fun watching her style grow and develop over the years. The first NFL game day look she ever did was sweatpants and a small crop top from her husband’s merchandise.

She says, “I look back on it now and I just get out of my skin, but those are the memories and they got me, it started from the bottom. Now we’re here. My skill set is much broader now.”

Kristina’s design first went viral after Swift, 34, wore a red puffer jacket she made to boyfriend Travis Kelce’s game on Jan. 13. The jacket was emblazoned with “Kelce” and his jersey number “87” for the match.

A few weeks later (after the 49ers clinched a Super Bowl berth with a win against the Detroit Lions on January 30th), Kristin was granted permission to use NFL logos on her apparel, including men’s and women’s apparel.

Kyle, who married Kristin in 2019, has supported his wife’s career from the start. He told reporters, incl The Athleticthat she has always worked incredibly hard behind the scenes, and it has been “pure pleasure” to watch her brand grow.

“She grinded for years and worked so hard. I’m so happy to see her get her stuff out there, everyone sees it and recognizes it’s hers,” Kyle said in a video shared by journalist David Lombardi, adding that it could take Kristin 20 hours to make one jacket. “Sometimes I wake up at 3 or 4 in the morning and she’s not in bed, she’s downstairs working, I’m so proud of her. I think she’s extremely talented, and the stuff she puts out there is unique.”

But while Kristina’s matchday outfits may be picture-perfect by the time she hits the pitch, the designer also showed that a lot of blood, sweat and tears went into their creation.

On February 2, she posted a photo on Instagram proving that due to the high demand for her designs, her fingers are in rough shape from all the sewing she’s been doing.

“The scars on the tips of my fingers from the needle stick accident are getting creepy,” Kristin captioned a photo of her injured fingers.

The Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers will face off in Super Bowl LVIII, which will air on CBS on February 11th at 6:30pm ET.
