Kyle Richards is “sure” her estranged husband Mauricio Umansky will return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for the upcoming 14th season of the series.
On Tuesday, May 14, the Bravo star, 55, appeared on an Amazon Live session and confirmed that she will be returning to the hit reality series.
“I was torn just because it’s been a long time since I’ve been on the show, and last year was tough, and I just – I really wanted to get back to having fun on the show and I just needed a little more time from the reunion,” Richards said.
The TV personality said returning to the show “was a much harder decision this year than any year before.”

“At the end of the day, the team and everyone is like my family,” she said. “When I finally decide not to come back, it’s going to be hard because it’s been a part of my life for so long. And like I said, the team is like a family to me.”
In July 2023, a source close to Richards and Umansky, 53, told PEOPLE that the couple had divorced after 27 years of marriage.
That same month, Richards confirmed their split in an Amazon Live session, telling viewers that her family was “feeling better” after the news became public.
“Actually, everybody — our daughters and Mauricio and I — we all felt better after that because so many people were speculating and making up stories, and it was just getting out of hand,” Richards said.

With their marriage dating back to Season 13, she said on Tuesday’s stream that she hopes to “have fun” and “not have as hard a season as last year.”
Speaking about whether Umansky will join the new season, Richards said, “I’m sure he will because you know he’s obviously family.” PEOPLE has reached out to Bravo, but is not commenting on the casting.
Elsewhere in the stream, Richards commented on Dorit Kemsley and Paul “PK” Kemsley’s recent decision to separate after nine years of marriage, saying: “I feel sorry for them, obviously you know, it’s hard enough to go through and not everyone wants to to know well, you know, I’m terribly sorry for them.”

Richards and Umansky have daughters Alexia, 27, Sophia, 24, and Portia, 16. She is also the mother of daughter Farrah Brittany, 35, from her previous marriage to Guraish Aldjufrie.
During Tuesday, May 14, the performance at Dog’s Bible podcast, Richards revealed that she and Umansky no longer live under the same roof.
