Kylie Kelce Gives Glimpse Into Kelce Family Holidays — And Reveals the Best Part (Exclusive)

The mother of three children tells PEOPLE how simple things make the entire Kelce family happy

Kylie Kelce loves her husband’s family dynamic even more during the holidays.

While the world spent the past year falling in love with the Kelce family, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce’s wife of five years has long appreciated their charm, as individuals and as a unit.

Speaking to PEOPLE about the magic of the holiday season as the family celebrated their 2023 holiday card with Minted, the 31-year-old mom of three says the best part of the magic is “getting us all in one place.”

“We have a lot of situations during football season where if there’s a big game or something, everyone’s going to be ready for the weekend, and that’s great. Every so often we get lucky and get my mother-in-law and father-in-law at the same time. Sometimes Jason’s aunt comes over and uncle,” she says.

Holidays bring a whole new level of joy and fun to already unforgettable gatherings.

“Really just being able to have everyone come down and have as many Kelce and Blalock, which is my mom’s side of the family, in the house at the same time is enough to really make your day,” says Kylie.

“Because everyone is so spread out, it’s really hard to get people together. So to get together, sit down and enjoy dedicated family time — and be able to enjoy delicious food, the food is top of the charts — it’s just the best thing what can we have.”

Some years it’s easier to get together for the holidays than others. While Jason and the Eagles will face brother Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs the week of Thanksgiving, each brother will play back-to-back home games with his team on Christmas Day.

“It’s a lot of planning, but we’re super flexible about it,” says Kylie. “So we’ve had a couple of Christmases that weren’t really Christmas, and Thanksgiving was the same.”

“Ultimately we’d like to have Christmas on Christmas and Thanksgiving on Thanksgiving,” she notes, but said that at this stage with daughters Bennett, 8 months, Elliotte, 2, and Wyatt, 3 – “We’re still skating pretty well with the pull-on by pretending the holiday is a different day, if necessary.”

Ahead of the 2023 Super Bowl — pitting the Kelce brothers against each other — Kylie told PEOPLE that her brother-in-law Travis is the “absolutely best” uncle to her girls.

“It’s very funny, Jason said in the interview that he thinks [the girls] maybe they’ll like him more than they like Jason,” Kylie joked.

“I tell everybody, he comes to our house to visit, and the poor guy doesn’t sit on the couch because our daughters will say, ‘No, no, you sit on the floor. We’re going to put together a puzzle. ‘We’re going to build blocks. We’re going to do this, we’re going to do that.’ , she added.

“Our oldest, she’s our boss. She’s our circle leader, and she just has demand after demand for him. And I’m like, ‘Trav, you know you can tell Wyatt no?’ ”

“He was like ‘Yeah, I don’t think I can.’ And so he will do it,” she said.

“She’ll say, ‘Jump up and down.’ He’ll do it. ‘Roll on the floor,’ he’ll do it. ‘Be a pony.’ He’s going to do it. So he’s all in when it comes to being an uncle. He’s the epitome of an uncle, completely.”
