Jason Kelce was quick to offer his brother an invitation for a “quick trip” to Pennsylvania for vacation after Travis revealed he was going solo
Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce are excited for the holiday season!
Fresh off the Philadelphia Eagles’ win against the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday night, the Kelce brothers return with a new episode of their weekly podcast, New heights with Jason and Travis Kelceand they discussed their future plans for Thanksgiving.
The brothers revealed that they will not be celebrating the holiday together as Travis (34) will be in Missouri, while Jason (36) will be in Pennsylvania with his wife Kylie and their three daughters.
Travis said he was “going to eat at KFC because I won’t have anyone here.” His brother then invited him to go on a “quick trip” to see his nieces, as Jason said they would “have plenty of food”.
As for the food in question, Jason said the Kelce family weren’t big turkey eaters growing up, and instead usually had “pork chops” at Thanksgiving. Their younger days also always involved a game of soccer at one of the local elementary schools in their neighborhood, the Eagles center said.

While they may not exactly eat turkey, Thanksgiving is still among the “best” holidays, according to Jason. Although, Travis may have a slightly different opinion after his brother reminded him that when they were younger, the day “always ended in tears” with their dad, Ed Kelce, “screaming” at Travis to eat his food.
“Travis is super picky,” Jason revealed, and the Chiefs tight end later shared that his favorite foods to eat on Thanksgiving include honey-roasted ham, mac and cheese, and dinner rolls from his mother, Donna Kelce.
Travis also admitted that he had “never cooked a turkey in his life.”

As the brothers reminisced about how often they’ve celebrated the holiday with their teammates and teammates’ families since playing football in college — both played at the University of Cincinnati — Travis also revealed that he and the Chiefs had a “friends” weekend celebration.
“We had Friends Day on Saturday,” he told Jason of his Super Bowl champion team. “It was great.”

Wednesday’s episode came two days after the brothers met on the field for the first time since the Super Bowl in 2023. The Eagles’ win on Monday night marked their last head-to-head since the siblings joined the NFL, and Travis shared his disappointment with his own performance while thinking about the match.
“I’m not playing my best football right now, man, and it pisses me off every f—— time I go out there,” he admitted. However, the team is generally “still together, and that’s the only thing that really matters,” he said.
“Nobody’s pointing fingers…Guys get fired up because guys want to be successful, I’m one of them. But we’re still a tight-knit group, you know what I mean, and as long as you understand that, you’ve got a fighting chance, man,” he continued.

After the game, the brothers shared an emotional moment on the field.
“Come here,” Jason said. “Good job, Travis. Congratulations.”
“I love you, big boy,” Travis replied. Jason added, “I love you too. Good job. Go celebrate.”
The last time the Eagles won against the Chiefs was in 2009. And before Monday’s game, Jason’s wife Kylie shared her hopes that he could secure his “first career win against the Kansas City Chiefs.”
“He’s 13 years old, we’re due,” she told local Kansas City channel Spectrum Sports KC on Sunday.

In a previous episode of their podcast, Jason pointed out that his younger brother plays better when Taylor Swift is in the stands.
The Eagles center said, “When T-Swift is at the game, you’re averaging 99 yards, and when it’s just your friends and the rest of your family, you’re averaging 46.5 yards.”
To which Travis replied, “It’s kind of hard for me to imagine that sentence.”

The “Shake it Off” singer has shown her support at multiple Chiefs games, even sitting with Donna Kelce in the family suite at Arrowhead Stadium, but Swift is currently on the South American leg of her Eras Tour and had a rescheduled performance in Rio de Janeiro overnight Chiefs games.
Earlier this month, Travis traveled to Argentina to spend some quality time with the pop star. While there, he met her father, Scott Swift, for the first time, and Swift, 33, gave him a special greeting on stage.
He said he had “little idea” she was planning to make a sweet gesture in his honor, but when she changed the lyrics to her final song, “Karma,” to sing, “Karma’s the type on The Bosses Came Straight To My Home,” Travis admitted , “it still shocked me.”
“I thought, ‘Oh, she really just said that.’ ”
