Kylie Kelce was destined to cook for football players’ appetites.
“I was raised in a family where you prepare a meal like you’re cooking for a hundred, and I truly believe that leftovers are part of the holiday,” says Kelce, who has teamed up with HoneyBaked in a new partnership.
The wife of Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce talked to PEOPLE about what the holiday season is like at her house. She says no “vacation in Kelac is complete” without the brand’s prosciutto, which makes the partnership a natural fit.
“It goes across the board, from my family, the McDevitt side of the family, to the Kelce side of the family,” the mom of three tells PEOPLE. “We’ve been fans through and through for a very long time.”
Since during the year “they are often not lucky enough to get everyone together”, the holidays are especially special. So Kylie likes to plan an extensive menu for the occasion.

“Our holiday meal usually starts—I’m not a planner, but I’ll always plan my HoneyBaked ham. So I’ll always plan to make sure I have one reserved. I’ll talk to my parents to see who’s going to pick it up, but when we pick it up, we’ll get other paper clips for the desk,” she says.
Rolls are also important to Kelce’s menu, so Kylie makes sure there are plenty of them.
“Although my mother-in-law [Donna Kelce] is the queen of the holiday roll, we will take other rolls for the leftovers. That’s the key. We’ll also pick up some baked cinnamon apples in their frozen section because that was my grandma’s favorite, so we have to have that,” she says.
Kylie also includes mac and cheese and turkey breast to complete the meal.
“So we have our ham as the centerpiece and then pretty much all the fixings,” she says.
Tripp McLaughlin, chief marketing officer of The Honey Baked Ham Company, tells PEOPLE that Kylie’s “passion for creating family moments and making every holiday meal special aligns with our values.”

Kylie has learned a few tricks over the years. He says it’s important to “get a big enough ham to have leftovers” to make your “secret” dish to enjoy for days after. “You get their ham and then one of the soup mixes … we like the bean soup mix,” she says. “You can cook leftover ham with the bones and it makes a great soup.”
The Kelce holiday gathering is truly a family affair with the couple’s oldest of three daughters, Wyatt, 4, starting to help out in the kitchen.
“My oldest just had to make Mama Kelce pastries for Thanksgiving dinner. So now she thinks she’s the queen of pastries,” laughs Kylie. “So I think they’ll be helping my mother-in-law again for our Christmas meal because they absolutely nailed it. They were outstanding, as usual.”
