Lady Gaga once sang, “I’m as free as my hair,” and in recent weeks she might be feeling pretty free if her hair color change is any indication.
The “Die with a Smile” singer, 38, arrived at the Venice Film Festival on Monday, September 2, rocking her signature blonde hair, almost three weeks after posting a selfie of herself with black hair and bleached eyebrows.
Winner of 13 Grammys, who is at the film festival for promotion Joker: Folie à Deuxshe sailed the waterways in Italy on a gondola with her fiance Michael Polansky. On the boat, they hugged and kissed, and upon arrival at the pier of the Cipriani Hotel, they exchanged another kiss.

Lady Gaga’s return to blonde comes just 18 days after she posted a candid photo of her dark hair transformation on Instagram on August 15. Six days ago, she still had dark locks.
A month before that drastic revelation, the “Million Reasons” singer wore a platinum blonde hairdo when she performed at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Although Lady Gaga has sported a variety of hair colors throughout her career, she is best known for her blonde hair, which she has worn frequently since the 2008 music video for her debut single, “Just Dance.”
At the Venice Film Festival on Monday, the Oscar winner paired her blonde hair with a short black dress with white polka dots. She completed the look with black sunglasses and heels.
Meanwhile, her fiance wore an all-black outfit and casual shoes.

Lady Gaga Joker: Folie à Deux, which has its Venice premiere on September 4th, will be in wide theaters on October 4th. In the film, Gaga plays Harley Quinn, the lover of the Joker, once again portrayed by Oscar winner Joaquin Phoenix.
The Venice Film Festival runs from August 28 to September 7.
