Lady Gaga has turned to the dark side.
The 38-year-old singer took to Instagram Carousel to show off a new dark red hairstyle, a drastic change from her previous bleached blonde locks.
In a selfie she shared on Thursday, August 15, the singer gave fans an up-close look at her fall-ready transformation. Her dark brown hair falls just below her shoulders and she kept her make-up minimal with a touch of pink blush and a neutral lip liner. Her eyebrows are also noticeably still blue.
The singer wore a black top, a leopard print coat and white sunglasses in the photos.
Gaga first revealed her new hair color in an Instagram video on Wednesday, August 14. In the video, the Grammy winner sits at a white piano while playing a few chords. Eagle-eyed fans spotted the star leaning into the camera at one point to show off the front of her oversized gray T-shirt featuring singer Bruno Mars.

Hours after the “Bad Romance” singer’s announcement, Mars (38) shared a photo on his Instagram profile of himself wearing a Lady Gaga T-shirt. The coordinating posts are fueling rumors that a collaboration between the two artists is on the way.
“She made sure we saw the shirt,” one user commented on Gaga’s post.
“GAGA X BRUNO 👀 we are so ready for this mother 🖤,” wrote another.

Last month, Gaga confirmed that she was engaged to longtime boyfriend, entrepreneur and tech investor Michael Polanski, at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
In a TikTok posted by Attal on Sunday, July 28, Gaga can be heard introducing Polanski as “her fiance” to French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal in the stands of a swimming competition.
A source told PEOPLE that the couple got engaged “a few months ago.”

“The couple immediately shared the happy news with family and close friends, but otherwise wanted to keep the engagement a secret,” the source revealed, adding that Gaga and Polansky are currently planning their wedding.
Gaga and Polansky were first romantically linked in 2020 when they were photographed kissing at a New Year’s party in Las Vegas. Just weeks later, they announced their relationship during a PDA weekend in Miami for the 2020 Super Bowl.
The singer sparked engagement rumors back in April when she was photographed wearing a massive diamond ring on her left ring finger.
