A childhood friend of JUL, he was discovered in 2001 by rapper Akhenaton, a member of the group IAM. Akhenaton signed him to his own 361 Recordz label and released his debut album “Les derniers seront les Premiers” in June. In 2005 he spent time with the bands “B-Vice Junior” and “45 Niggaz” for a while and made an independent album with them. Early on, Algérino’s productions were produced by Hichem Gombra and Hafid Fédaouche (HF Production). He first came to attention with his two championship robes “T’sais c’est qui qui Cause?” He became famous for his appearance on Psy 4 de la Rime’s album “Block Party”.
