The singer, 39, responded to an Instagram post on Saturday, Aug. 31, about her rumored relationship with gator guide Jeremy Dufrene.

The post included a screenshot of a social media post purportedly from Dufrene’s daughter that read: “regarding my dad and lana from my last few tweets. If there’s any update I’ll give it to you but as of right now I don’t have any give. hardly talking to my dad, let alone interested in his love life.

Del Rey denied the claim: “Also, that’s not his daughter on Twitter.”

Both of the “Candy Necklace” singer’s comments are still visible, though the caption has been edited to reflect her responses.

Del Rey hit the headlines when she and her rumored boyfriend were seen holding hands at the Reading & Leeds Festival in August while she was headlining the music festival.

It appears they met during a trip to Louisiana in 2019. At the time, she and a few friends stopped at Arthur and Dufrene’s Airboat Tours, which took them on a guided tour of the wetlands — which the singer later posted on Facebook.
