Lauren Sánchez is ready to say “Yes.”
The former news anchor (53) has been engaged to Jeff Bezos since May, and she revealed in the new Vogue profile that she already has a few details she’s extracted about their marriage — including whether or not she’ll take his name.
“Uh, yes, 100 percent. I’m looking forward to being Mrs. Bezos,” Sánchez told the outlet before sharing some of the designers she’s eyeing for potential wedding dresses.
She listed Christian Dior, Dolce & Gabbana and Valentino as her favorite fashion houses, but insisted she hasn’t made any real decisions about the dress yet. “There are so many amazing designers!” she said, adding, “When I get a minute, I’ll slow down.”
Overall, there are a lot of to-dos on the wedding planning list, she said. “We are still thinking about the wedding [and] what will be. Will it be big? Will it be abroad? We don’t know yet. We’ve only been engaged for five months!” said Sánchez.

Bezos, 59, also opened up Vogue about his relationship with his ex Good day LA co-host, whom he started dating in early 2019, shortly after they both divorced.
“Lauren has an incredible intuition, almost a witch’s power in that regard,” he said of his fiancée. “She sees things that other people don’t. She’s really very sensitive to other people and what they think.”
He said that their romance helped him to develop his relationships, which fulfill him more.
“She really helped me put more energy into my relationships,” Bezos told the news outlet. “She always encourages me: ‘Call your children. Call your dad. Call mum.’ And she’s also just a very good role model. She is in contact with people. I’ve never seen her put on makeup without inviting someone. Usually her sister.”
As for wedding planning, the founder and former CEO of Amazon laughed off the idea of his engagement. “Oh, God, no. Do I look that stupid?” he joked.

Following the couple’s engagement, a source close to the couple told PEOPLE that they are “really in love and happy, which makes everyone who knows them happy.”
Sánchez’s friends were “delighted that Jeff finally popped the question,” and the source noted that the couple “had been talking about it for a long time.”
“All her friends say this is her dream come true. She found the man she wants to spend the rest of her life with and they felt the time was right,” the source added. “He has all the money in the world and what was missing was someone to share it with and everyone on both sides is very happy.”
