Leah Remini and ex Angelo Pagán prove they are still friends.
Despite announcing their divorce in August, the couple has not stopped their Sunday tradition. In a video the two shared in a joint Instagram post on Nov. 10, Pagán, 56, can be seen speaking intensely on a TV screen as the Dallas Cowboys faced the Philadelphia Eagles while Remini, 54, asked him questions.
“Who exactly are you talking to, Angelo?” she asked as the couple watched a soccer game.
“I’m talking to the television,” he replied jokingly, “They can hear me.”
“Are you happy, Ang?” Remini then asked, to which Pagán replied, “I’m so happy right now.”
“Good, because two seconds ago you said Dallas was bad,” she joked.
“We have!” he shouted as Remini laughed behind the camera. “But come on baby, we can be back at three past five!”
Pagán captioned the post: “Something never changes. I still spend most Sundays watching my Cowboys with @leahremini #exesbelike”

On August 29, Remini and Pagán announced that they were divorcing after almost three decades together. In a detailed statement, they explained that their daughter Sofija, born in 2004, and their friendship will come first.
“Well, here we are. After 28 years together and 21 years of marriage, we have decided to file for divorce,” the post began. “This decision came after a lot of thought and concern, and as difficult as the divorce is, we’re approaching this with a positive outlook because we know it’s what’s best for us.”

The statement continued: “We are proud of how we got through this together.” While they figure out their “new normal,” they said they will continue to “celebrate the holidays together, watch our favorite TV shows together, and get together as a family.”
“So the big question—why? Simply put, we’ve both changed, as humans do, and we’ve grown accustomed to playing roles that no longer fit us. After much effort and thought, we’ve decided to take this step, which reflects who we are today.” they wrote.

“Our relationship is still going strong—it just evolved into something different. We think that a marriage that has lasted this long and created so many great memories, especially raising our amazing daughter, is something to celebrate. From our perspective, this marriage has been a great success . And now we look forward to creating even more cherished moments—just in a different way.”
Remini and Pagán said they wanted to be “as transparent as possible” since they shared their marriage “so publicly” on TV for years. “We share this uncharted territory with all of you as we take our first steps in this next phase of our lives in public,” the statement continued. “We wish everyone had more access to different types of relationship stories and didn’t feel so isolated navigating the changes that millions of couples make each year. We hope our journey can inspire others to see these relationships – whether they’re changing or ending — are not failures. We will continue to share snippets of our lives as we move through this new chapter.”
