Jango Fett is one of over 300 characters that can be unlocked in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. There are two versions of Jango Fett to unlock. The standard Jango Fett appears in his Mandalorian armor, and the casual version is in regular clothes without a helmet. Both versions of Jango Fett can be unlocked by playing through the story levels in Attack of the Clones.
Since Jango Fett is in the Bounty Hunter class, he has a few unique skills in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. Bounty Hunters are the only characters that can destroy gold blocks, and they are also able to grapple or pull down objects. Instead of steady fire, Bounty Hunters shoot in bursts of three. Upgrades can be unlocked for these characters that give them the ability to throw shock grenades, detect enemies through walls, collect Studs from defeated enemies, and fire a spread of bolts.
Along with the shared Bounty Hunter skills, Jango Fett is also one of the only characters that have a jetpack. Players will only be able to hover briefly with the jetpack, but it’s useful for crossing small gaps that can’t be cleared by double-jumping. In order to unlock Jango Fett as a playable character, he will need to be defeated in a boss fight during the “Petranaki Panic” story mission. This is the fourth level in Attack of the Clones.
How To Complete Petranaki Panic In LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
There are a few objectives to complete in “Petranaki Panic” before Jango Fett can be defeated in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. First, Padmé will need to climb up the towers and break the chains holding Anakin and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Alternatively, players can switch to the other characters and dodge attacks to break the chains. Next, a Reek, Acklay, and Nexu need to be defeated. There are a few objects around the arena that can be thrown using the Force, and the creatures can be attacked with melee strikes.
While fighting the creatures, players can also use Mind Tricks to make them fight each other. Once the Reek, Acklay, and Nexu are defeated, Mace Windu and the other Jedi will show up. A few droids can be defeated to draw out Jango Fett, then the boss battle will begin. Jango Fett uses his jetpack to frequently fly around the arena, so players will need to chase him down and deal as much damage as possible using attack combos. He will also shoot rockets, but they’re easily avoided as long as players aren’t standing still.
After defeating him, both versions of Jango Fett will be unlocked in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. However, each Jango Fett will also need to be purchased before they can be used as playable characters. Both forms of Jango Fett cost 200,000 Studs each, so players may not be able to purchase him right away. Unlocking multipliers and completing activities throughout the galaxy will aid in earning enough Studs to unlock Jango Fett in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
