Liam Payne was ‘very upset’ & arguing with mystery woman in hotel lobby 3 hours before his tragic death, witness claims

TRAGICALLY Liam Payne was allegedly seen arguing with a mystery woman in a hotel lobby just three hours before his fatal fall, a guest claims.

Michael Fleischmann also stayed at the Casa Sur Palermo hotel in Buenos Aires and claims he saw the One Direction star “very upset” as he argued over money in front of other guests.

The American, who lives in Argentina, told local newspaper The Buenos Aires Herald what he saw happening at the boutique hotel around 2pm local time.

According to Fleischmann, the British singer kept saying, “I’ll give you $20,000 just because I can. I have $55 million and I love helping people.”

Fleischmann said he didn’t realize it was Liam at first, but later recognized the star as the man he saw in the hotel lobby when news broke of his tragic death.

He described the 31-year-old as “a man with an English accent who appeared to be causing a disturbance”.

The guest claimed that Liam “seemed very upset, agitated, a bit wild, walking around and pacing”, as well as “very energetic”.

Fleischmann’s mom, Toni, added that the star also reportedly yelled, saying he could help the woman.

He continued: “We don’t know what they were doing before that, but she looked very uncomfortable and he kept repeating that information.”

The Fleischmanns claimed the woman was likely a local because she spoke Spanish and had an interpreter with her, who was also trying to prevent the alleged altercation.

Toni said: “It just seemed like she was extremely uncomfortable with him and a bit timid.”

The mum added that the hotel lobby was almost empty at the time of the alleged row, saying: “It was just my son, me, Liam Payne, my wife and the staff.

“The manager was trying to politely intervene or calm him down. He could feel the anxiety in that area.”

Even though it was only verbal, the Fleischmanns were worried that it could get even more heated.

According to Michael, “the situation was definitely very tense.”

After that, mom and son went up to their room just as Liam allegedly entered the elevator.

Michael said: “He kind of pushed my hand out of the way. That was the last time I saw him.”

He then claims he got out of the elevator with his mom before seeing a mystery woman outside talking on the phone.

It comes after officers investigating Liam’s tragic death have reportedly spoken to two key witnesses who may have been the last people to see him alive.

The former One Direction star died after a tragic fall from a hotel balcony on Wednesday afternoon.

Argentina’s prosecutor’s office said two women who were allegedly with Liam the night before his death have now given statements.

Both women are understood to have left the CasaSur Hotel without him after waiting for the Briton in the lobby on Wednesday, Argentinian news outlet Infobae reported.

Although police have not given any indication that she was involved in his death, the women could help determine what happened hours before.

There is no indication that women could be involved in any way in the fatal fall of the star.

Liam was in Buenos Aires on tour with his former bandmate Niall Horan when he died after falling from the third floor on Wednesday afternoon.

Emergency services chief Alberto Crescenti said initial findings indicated he had fractured his skull.

The latest 911 call from hotel staff on Wednesday revealed they needed “emergency” police officers to help with a guest who was “behaving erratically.”

Just minutes before his death, Liam shared a Snapchat post showing himself with his girlfriend Kate Cassidy looking in the mirror.

Tributes have poured in for the singer, with celebrities and fans alike sharing heartbreak.
