Lil Nas X Rips Out Camila Cabello's Hair in a Nightclub as They Fight Over a Man in 'He Knows' Video

Camila Cabello and Lil Nas X are learning – the hard way – not to let a man interfere with their friendship.

In the music video for their new collaboration “He Knows,” which was released on Wednesday, May 22, the two pop artists find themselves in a nightclub, physically fighting over a man who has shown interest in both of them.

The clip opens with Cabello, 27, walking into a club with friends, snapping photos, spotting a love interest and dancing with him. After performing the choreography, Lil Nas X, 25, spots a man hanging out with the Fifth Harmony alum and approaches him, prompting her to leave.

In another room, the artist from “Havana” jumps on the back of the musician from “Old Town Road” and tackles him. They begin to wrestle, and he pulls out a lock of her blonde hair, before the doll dressed in flirtatious man clothes falls to the floor.

It’s at this point that he realizes he’s been plastic all along — even though Lil Nas X is more concerned about the mannequin’s baldness.

During the rest of the video, Cabello and the “J Christ” artist dance together at a nightclub with friends. They end up standing outside thinking about dinner.

“Let’s promise never to fight over boys again,” the Grammy winner tells the “Shameless” singer, who seals the deal with her little finger. However, she then spots a man and immediately starts flirting, as does Lil Nas X.

The clip ends with the pair looking at each other and brazenly biting their little fingers, revealing mouths full of blood.

“He Knows” is the second track released from Cabello’s upcoming fourth studio album, C, XOXOout June 28, following “I Luv It” featuring Playboi Carti.

In a recent interview with Rolling stone, she was excited to work with Lil Nas X on a new track. “He’s the kind of artist for whom more than the song is important,” Cabello said.

“He really puts thought and care into the performance. He plays with the fans. He cares about the music video and making a statement,” she added.
