In the first images for Part 2 of Season 4 of the Netflix series, marketing executive Emily Cooper, played by Lily Collins, embarks on a new adventure in the Eternal City — and as always, she dresses the part.

Whether she’s riding a Vespa with a mystery man (Eugenio Franceschini) or hanging out with her best friend Mindy (Ashley Park), Emily makes a bold statement in a series of colorful, modern looks amid her Roman vacation.

The new episodes will pick up after Emily and chef Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) finally say those three big words to each other — “I love you.” But are they really happily ever after, or will complications get in the way of their blossoming romance?

According to Netflix’s official synopsis for season 4, “The chemistry between Emily and Gabriel is undeniable as they work together to win a Michelin star [for his restaurant]but two big secrets threaten to undo everything they dreamed of. As old patterns collide with new complications, Emily finds herself drawn to a potential new love interest… and a new town.”

Emily has secrets at work and mixed feelings in her heart – and all the drama drags her to Rome, but she grows during the journey.

Said producer and director Andrew Fleming USA Today that Emily is no longer “a wide-eyed newbie in the office and an outdoor chick in Paris.”

“She’s more comfortable and in touch with herself, and has more of a sense of confidence,” Fleming added of the character’s evolution.

Mindy juggles her burgeoning music career with her relationship with fashion scion Nicolas, which is hampered by a scandal involving Nicolas’ powerful father.

Besides, Camille (Camille Razat) has her own secrets. Entering the second part, he has to make many big decisions that could change what he is at his core.

Fleming said USA Today that Razat, 30, is “really wonderful in the second half” of the final season.

“We have such a fantastic cast, and there’s a lot more emotional stuff this season,” he added.

Emily in Paris Season 4, Part 1 is streaming now and Part 2 will premiere on Netflix on Thursday, September 12th.
