Lindsay Lohan Gets Back Into Character as Parent Trap Twins for Late Night Sketch – Complete with Peanut Butter and Oreos

Lindsay Lohan just paid tribute to her big movie.

In a new TikTok video with Jimmy Fallon released ahead of her Monday appearance on the Tonight’s show, she paid homage to her 1998 characters, Hallie and Annie from The parent trap.

Lohan, 37, was seen handing Fallon, 49, some Oreos backstage while she wore a glamorous bronze dress.

Fallon helps himself to one of the cookies as the camera cuts to another version of Lohan. The latter Lohan tells Fallon in a British accent, “At home I eat them with peanut butter.” Both her accent and her line point to the origin of her character Annie in the film.

Another Lohan was also seen wearing a vintage “Camp Walden” t-shirt and a white headband, both referencing the Hallie and Annie costumes.

As Fallon continues to look confused, Lohan first pulls out a jar of peanut butter and adds that she also eats Oreos with spread, referencing another of the characters’ memorable traits.

Cookie in hand, Fallon frantically replies, “Okay, I’ll see one of you there.”

This prompts both Lohans to share a signature look, as the former Lohan then dips her Oreo in peanut butter.

In 2020, the cast reunited to celebrate the film 22 years later, and Lohan told host Katie Couric what it was like to switch roles as Annie and Hallie. People on the set would treat her differently when she dressed as either of the twins, she said.

“I feel like people treated me differently when I was Annie because Annie was a lot nicer and Hallie was like me,” Lohan explained, adding that she didn’t feel like she was working while making the movie, instead describing it as ” learning experience.”
