Lindsie Chrisley Felt ‘Insincere’ Commenting on Nic Kerdiles’ Death amid Tough Times with Sister Savannah

Lindsie Chrisley did what she thought was best.

Following news of the death of her sister Savannah Chrisley’s ex-fiancé, Nic Kerdiles, Southern tea The podcast host chose not to release a public tribute to the former NHL player. And while that decision ultimately drew criticism from her side, Lindsie made the call for a reason.

“It would almost seem, based on what happened with me and my sister, that if I were to post something because it would be disingenuous,” Lindsie, 34, told PodcastOne co-host Kailyn “Kail” Lowry Convos with coffee. “And I don’t think we should live for what we post on social media. We should live for what we do and our lives personally outside of what the public knows.”

Lindsie also said her decision stemmed from seeing one of Kerdiles’ sisters comment on a media outlet’s Instagram post, expressing her displeasure at being linked to Savannah, 26, despite his own achievements.

“I just made the decision not to say anything publicly about it because I felt it was based on what the sister said there, that she didn’t want anything to do with the family and they are grieving people,” she explained.

“The comments were horrible with people saying I shouldn’t post happy photos when something so sad is happening. And I had sad things happen on my birthday so I decided not to share those photos and a little I recorded them myself during the breaks on social networks,” she explained. “… I said last week I was going to share my birthday photos and I got a lot of messages from people saying are you ever going to share them?”

“I shared them last night and in this comment section people were saying you know this is happening and it’s not appropriate to post happy photos,” she continued. “And I just want to talk about that a little bit because I think in the world of social media, people live and think that I live off my social media feeds and that’s the only thing going on in my life.”

And I said in the previous episode, she could hang the moon, but she still wasn’t my mother. I was still exposed to my mother.”
