Lionel Richie is “stuck” on tour.
On Tuesday, the legendary singer/songwriter/producer, 74, announced he will extend his Sing A Song All Night Long tour with special guests Earth, Wind & Fire.
The 13-date run, produced by Live Nation, will begin Thursday, May 23 in Knoxville, Tennessee at Thompson Boling Arena, with stops in Jacksonville, Florida; Kansas City, Missouri; Columbus, Ohio; and more, before it ends on Sunday, June 16 in Pittsburgh at the PPG Paints Center. The 2024 tour follows the “We Are the World” artist’s sold-out 20-date Sing A Song All Night Long 2023 tour, which also featured the R&B and funk legends and stopped in North American cities including Chicago, Boston, Toronto, San Francisco, Los Angeles and others.

The initial dates followed after American Idol a series of judges’ concerts in Europe during June and July, as well as the American Earth, Wind & Fire concerts in June and July.
“Well, my friends, the time has come for me to announce a tour – not just any tour, but the tour I’ve been trying to do for years, and now it’s going to happen,” Richie said in video shared on social networks with a tour announcement in March 2023. “This is the place to be.”
