Lisa Vanderpump Is Teaming Up with Kroger Grocery Stores on a Collection of Floral Bouquets (Exclusive)

Lisa Vanderpump’s latest project is very close to her heart.

The Bravo star and restaurateur is partnering with Kroger grocery stories to debut Vanderpump Blooms x Bloom Haus, a new floral collection featuring bouquets in a variety of colorful palettes that will launch on September 4.

“I’m at a stage in my life where I’ve really been authentic in everything I do,” Vanderpump, 63, tells PEOPLE exclusively. “And I think flowers have been such a part of my life. On camera, off camera, you always see me arranging flowers, doing flowers in a restaurant, going to the flower market, a weekly visit for me.”

The Kroger collaboration was a natural fit for Vanderpump, who says she’s all about “affordable luxury.”

Some of the flower arrangements can be designed by following the video instructions. A selection of ready-made bouquets sold in distinctive vases or urns will also be available.

“I think a lot of people are afraid of flowers,” notes Vanderpump. “They think, ‘Oh, I don’t know what to do with them.’ So I keep it simple and just add beauty to life.”

The reality TV host is known for her love of entertaining at her sprawling Beverly Hills mansion, Villa Rosa. She says creating a “sanctuary” helps her unwind from the fast-paced life of running her restaurant empire with husband Ken Todd and starring in Bravo Vanderpump Rules and Hulu The Vanderpump Villa.

For those who want to incorporate some of the details of her luxurious home into their abode, she suggests buying “all the flowers you can afford.”

“A dog also makes a home, or whatever animal you may have,” adds Vanderpump, who with her husband founded the nonprofit dog rescue organization, the Vanderpump Dog Foundation.

“I love to cook,” she says. “I don’t think of it as a task. I think I’ve ordered takeout — other than Indian food, which I love to order takeout — probably 20 times in my entire life. I enjoy the whole process at home. And I like to set the table and receive people.”

He brings his passion for catering to the French countryside in his latest show Villa Vanderpump, who follows the staff at her Chateau Rosabelle estate. The series was recently renewed for a second season after premiering earlier this year.

Vanderpump says she’s already started filming the new episodes, and while she can’t share many details yet, she promises they’re “very exciting” and “very intricate on many levels, just in the setting and the decadence and the beauty of the visuals of it all.”

“I think it’s cast in.” The Vanderpump Villa this season will surely surprise you,” she teases.

Vanderpump revealed earlier this month that Vanderpump Rules alum Stassi Schroeder will join the series in season two.

“I always found her fascinating on television,” he says of Schroeder. “I loved her energy. I loved her badassness. I loved her sass. I loved her ambition.”

Schroeder and his colleague Kristen Doute were fired VPR in June 2020 due to past racially insensitive actions involving cast member Faith Stowers, for which they later apologized.

Vanderpump says she’s “excited” to see Schroeder, now 36, back on TV and “in a good place.”

“I think it’s been a long time and I think she’s progressed and progressed and been successful, which I’m really glad to see, because she’s always had a lot of potential,” Vanderpump says. “And I think she got it.”

“But even as a boss, sometimes there can be a lot of scolding, reprimanding, support, giving, organizing. It’s quite nice to have someone who is as playful as me and to see her grow up,” she continues. “Everybody makes mistakes, and I just don’t believe that everybody sits there and wags their fingers and everything. People make mistakes, people learn from it. I’ve always been into it.”

Vanderpump reflected on how her management style has changed since she started appearing with her staff at the West Hollywood SUR location on Vanderpump Rules in 2013.

“When you spend time with people like in a reality show in such close proximity, you see their vulnerability and their emotional challenges that often come out in front of the cameras. I always feel that I am a matriarchal figure in the best sense of the word, I try to listen and understand,” she says.

Vanderpump, who shares daughter Pandora, 38, and son Max, 32, with Todd, adds that she is trying to figure out what advice she would give her employees if they were her own children.

“But sometimes they’re really fucking annoying and I kick them in the…” she admits. “I mean, that’s life, right? It’s like, if they get it wrong the first time, okay, let’s talk about this. I’ll show you once. But fool me once, not twice.”

Vanderpump Rules took a break from filming this summer after an intense 11th season following Scandoval: cast member Tom Sandoval’s affair with fellow audience member Rachel “Raquel” Leviss, who was in a nine-year relationship with partner Ariana Madix.

Vanderpump says she hopes the cast has “moved on a little bit” from the cheating scandal.

“Everyone should have stopped talking about the same thing,” she says. “And also, I was very glad to see that Ariana was okay. I’ve always been pretty close with Ariana because we’ve talked about mental issues and depression, and our love of horses, so we’ve always been pretty close.” “Some people felt like I took Tom’s side,” she continues. “I never took Tom’s side. He was a thousand percent wrong, and he damn well knew it. But it was about trying to create an element of forgiveness and cohesion among the group because he talked about suicidal ideation. And that always worries me, because I lost my only brother or sister.”

Vanderpump’s brother Mark died by suicide in April 2018.

“I talked about it very openly, very honestly,” she says. “I’m not in reality not to tell you the truth, because no, people can smell bulls—and so can I.”

Another reason for the hiatus in production is that Vanderpump has been busy this year. In addition to opening restaurants in Lake Tahoe and Las Vegas, she competed in the second season Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars.

The The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills The alum says the experience was “so different” from filming her other shows.

“I have the utmost respect for him because you come from our homeland and you are probably more successful than any other chef ever, how could you not?” she says of the British celebrity chef. “But he also has that kind of sense of humor, like me, that very aggressive British sense of humor. We had a lot of fun doing it.”
