Love Island's Serena Page Reveals 'Next Step' in Kordell Beckham Relationship Is Engagement, But 'We Need Time' (Exclusive)

Island of love USASerena Page knows what’s next for her relationship with Kordell Beckham — but she’s in no rush.

The 25-year-old Houston native tells PEOPLE that she and her boyfriend are “making progress” in their relationship two months after leaving their villa in Fiji, but they’re trying to move at a “normal relationship” pace, not as fast as in fairy.”

“We can just go out and slow things down a little bit,” adds Serena, who recently partnered with Truly Hard Seltzer.

She and Kordell, 22, who won season six of the Peacock dating competition, officially became boyfriend and girlfriend just days after leaving the mansion, but that’s all they want to do for now.

As she looks to the future, Serena says living together is “not the next step” for the couple. “My finger is still empty,” she points out.

“There’s no apartment. There’s nothing like that. The next step would be engagement,” he reveals. “And we need some time for that.”

“This is bare. It’s nothing,” she says, referring to her ring finger. “This is it my apartment. My finger is empty, as is the apartment. I can live with you when we’re engaged.”

Besides, the former media planner’s life is already moving at a speed of 100 miles per hour these days. She says she’s “definitely traveling more” now since she “didn’t travel much at all before” as she reflects on how life has changed since she entered the mansion.

“I worked seven days a week. I was a workaholic,” she says. “Now I breathe a little. Obviously, I don’t breathe much because I’m alone [traveling] all over the world.”

There is another big difference. “I also mean having a boyfriend. I haven’t had one for a minute.”

Speaking of travel, Serena is also gearing up for a big weekend in New York with her BFF from the mansion, Jana Craig. The duo teamed up with Truly Hard Seltzer to celebrate the launch of the brand’s Brunch Pack and are hosting a Bottomless Brunch pop-up in the East Village on Oct. 5 to celebrate.

“I’m a snack girl, through and through,” says Serena. “JaNa’s the same. She lives in Vegas, so you know how they go to snack. We go to snack, too.”
