Speaking about why she refuses to comment on her split, Lucy added: “People might think I should talk about it because we were so public and everyone knew us as a couple, but I won’t, and it’s not because there’s animosity.
“We both agreed that while it might be weird if other people didn’t hear anything about it, we wouldn’t talk about anything to do with marriage or each other.”
Money talks
Jon, 41, and Lucy have managed to amass £6million over the years.
In June of this year, Lucy resigned as director of their company, This Guy at Night Limited.
Jon then paid her £1.625 million for her shares in the company.
In addition, the prankster also paid HMRC stamp duty of £8,125.

The deal is worth £4m in 2023, according to the documents.
The couple still co-own their two properties – a £1 million flat in Yorkshire and another £1 million flat in London.
Jon and Lucy married in 2015 after two years of dating.
The two share one daughter, Elsie Louise, age seven.
In April, they announced that they had gone their separate ways.
A statement shared by the PA news agency reads: “After 9 years of marriage, we would like to announce that we have separated.
“Together and amicably, we made the difficult decision to divorce and go our separate ways.
“As our only priority is managing this difficult transition for our daughter, we ask that our privacy be respected at this sensitive time to protect her well-being.
“We will not comment further.”
Over the years, Jon and Lucy have appeared in a number of TV shows.
Their own Dave show Meet the Richardsons premiered in 2016 and ran for five successful series.
Last year, Lucy shared what it was like to work with her partner.
She previously said: “We love working together and enjoy Meet the Richardsons and we really wanted to do something that people could relate to.
“Meet The Richardsons is actually an excuse for us to channel the tension into comedy and you see that in the studio someone might start saying something thinking they’re going to throw a punch, but as soon as we and the audience start laughing at them, they realize it’s all nonsense”.
Last year, Lucy joked about divorcing Jon a year before their news.
Speaking of Eight Out of Ten Countdown Cats, she joked: “I can’t see this for the rest of my life.”
