Saju Navodaya was born on Friday, October 14, 1977 in Udayamperoor, Cochin, Kerala (age 42 years 2020). His zodiac sign is Libra. Sarju Navodaya was born into a poor family. His father’s name is Pappanikunnel Thankappan and mother’s name is Manka. His parents were farmers. He has nine brothers and sisters. The name of one of his brothers is Chetan Suresh. Saju founded a dance school “Miracle” in Udayamperoor, Kerala. Resmi is a classical dance teacher and used to teach dance at his school. Saju started liking her and later the two decided to get married. Saju and Resmi got married on November 1, 2001, a day after his brother got married. The couple has no children.

Saju started his career as a parody artist. He has performed on stage in local clubs in Kochi. Professional impersonation artist Manoj Guinness invited him to perform with his impersonation troupe “Cochin Navodaya” in Kochi. Manoj Guinness changed his name from Pappanikunnel Thankappan Saju to Saju Navodaya; as his stage name. He became popular for his impersonations and later performed in India and abroad with his impersonation troupe.
Soon, his talent was recognized by television channels and he was offered many television shows. In 2009, he made his debut as a comedian in the first season of the television show Comedy Stars. He played the role of “Pashanam Shaji” in various reality shows, which eventually became his stage name. He has appeared in many television comedy shows including Comedy Super Night 2 (2013), Tamaar Padaar (2014) and Nalla Best Family (2019).

In 2014, he made his acting debut in the Malayalam film Mannar Mathai Saying 2. He has acted in several Malayalam films like Acha Dhin (2015), Aadupuliyattam (2016), Achayans (2017), Kalyanam (2018) and March Randam Vyazham” (2019). He made his debut in a leading role in the 2018 film Karinkannan.
In 2016, he made his debut as a singer with the song “Manja Kattil Pokande” from the movie “Aadupuliyattam”.

I’m not a big shot in the industry yet to read the script ahead of time and suggest changes to my character. So I accepted that “Pashanam Shaji” would stay with me. Still, I had a feeling that if I were given a different role, I could explore other areas of my talents. I am now a typical pessimistic villager. “
