Since the start of Love Island USA season 4, the couple’s dynamic has changed. Mady McLanahan returned to her original partner Andy Voyen in the final episode, which aired on July 31. The show started with a reunion round where the women had to choose their partners. After Mady chose Andy, people scolded her and reminded her of what happened the week before.
Andy rejected Mady and chose Sydney, Isaiah’s companion, in the final round of reunions. His choice caused quite a stir in the mansion, especially when Chazz discovered that Andy and Sydney had kissed before the reunion round. However, on the July 31 show, Sydney and Mady chose their previous partners.
Mady’s choice of Andy was criticized by fans
Andy was never a big favorite in the villa, and many wanted him to leave the program after his actions last week. However, much to the chagrin of Love Island USA viewers, Mady came to his rescue. Andy was partnered with Courtney when Mady arrived at the resort. The latter was not interested in him, especially when he admitted that he was a “mama’s boy”. During the first hookup, he chose Mady and tried to set up their relationship, but viewers were confused when they saw him flirting with Sydney.
Andy chose Sydney in the second merge round, shocking Mady. Over the course of a week, he realized his mistake and tried to apologize to her. As a result, in the final round of the reunion, Sydney chose Isaiah and Mady chose Andy. Fans, however, were not happy with Mady’s decision and criticized her on Twitter for choosing her mother’s son. They said she may have chosen Felipe, allowing him to be saved and Andy to leave the program. Some Love Island USA viewers deemed Andy a “walking red flag”, while others thought the home “didn’t need” Andy.
Fans just scolded Mady for choosing Andy over Felipe because they thought he was toxic. Some viewers have said that Mady and Andy are their least favorite duo on the show.

After reuniting, Love Island USA Season 4 couples
After newlyweds Jeff and Bryce turned up the heat in the mansion, the current episode featured a round of reunions. Their arrival changed the dynamics of the relationship, especially with Zeta and Courtney. Zeta was taken aback by Jeff’s provocative behavior in the previous episode, but was also seen kissing her old lover Timmy. Fans couldn’t wait to find out Zeta’s choice, especially after she informed Timmy that she missed him.
For those who don’t know, Zeta and Timmy were a couple until Bria came to the resort. In the previous recoupling round, she chose Timmy, which broke Zeta’s heart. He also said that he has affection for both women, but is more attracted to Zeta. However, this time she chose Jeff, who has been giving her all his attention since he arrived on Love Island USA Season 4. Besides Zeta, fans were a bit surprised by Courtney’s choice of Bryce over Felipe.
Felipe was rejected because no one chose him. After the rejoining round, public voting lines were available for two and a half hours. They had to vote for their favorite duo. The islanders were given a task on the July 31 episode where they will be asked personal questions about each other to determine their level of compatibility. Before the match, the introduction of all the couples was shown. While Bryce’s “broken eagle” incident had everyone in stitches, Zeta was irritated by Bria and Timmy’s game.
