Mahika Gaur is an English cricketer who plays for Cumbria, North West Thunder, Manchester Originals and England Cricket Team. She is a bowling all-rounder. She has represented two countries in international cricket. Gower played for the United Arab Emirates women’s national cricket team from 2019 to 2022. She was a child prodigy who made her T20I debut for the UAE at the age of 12 against Indonesia.

She was bowling for the Nets when Warren Hegg spotted her and randomly asked if she could play in a game in England. After this, Gower returned to England and won a full scholarship to Sedbergh School. She became the first female player to represent Cederberg’s first team.

Gower was in fine form during the 2022 ICC Women’s Under-19 World Cup Asia qualifiers, taking 5 wickets for just 2 runs in four overs, finishing with just 10 in the second match in Malaysia. A score of 8 runs eliminated Nepal from the tournament. She was named player of the match.

She has played a total of 19 T20I matches for the UAE team.
