- After winning the beauty pageant, he moved to Mumbai. However, his initial days in the city were fraught with challenges as he lacked any industry connections. Finally, he made his debut in the show Choti Sarrdaarni. In an interview, he expressed his deep pride and responsibility in playing a turbaned character on the show. He emphasized that the aim of Choti Sarrdaarni was to showcase various aspects of Punjabi culture beyond the comedic stereotypes usually associated with Sikhs.
