Making Empire Records Was 'a Party Every Day,' and Ethan Embry Admits at 90s Con He Did 'So Much Acid'

“I took so many acids during that period,” Embry said with a laugh. “Since we lived on the beach and I was 16 and the carnival was down the street, so I would get it on the ticket counter.”

Tunney remembered that one day he was making a movie, Embry ended up in a Walmart parking lot with a gun. “It was on the evening news,” she remembered. “That wasn’t even real, but he had to do the community service.”

Embry confirmed that he had recently read the news about the incident. “It’s amazing,” he said.

Other settled hijinks included when someone knocked down a golf course in Anthony Lapaglia car rental. Tunney said it was Embry, but Embry said that Brendan Sexton, who played Warren.

During the panel, Costari was praised by the director of Allen Moyle. “He made us all feel like a community,” Embry said.
